How Can i get involved?
- Become a Team Manager- As an alum you have a unique perspective on problem solving, and as a team manager you could foster this perspective in a new generation of DI'ers. Talk to a school in your area about helping out with a team!
- Volunteer at a local tournament- All DI tournaments rely on the assistance of a large organization of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to staff information desks, be score runners, work in the score room, sell souvenirs, or a myriad of other rolls. If you have a couple hours on a Saturday in the Spring, there's a tournament near you that could use the help!
- Become an Appraiser- As someone who has competed in DI tournaments, your knowledge of how tournaments and scoring work is invaluable to the organization, and its a great way to see how kids are solving challenges after you have finished your time as a competitor.
Before becoming a volunteer, make sure you go through DI's online training. Training can be found online at www.diuniversity.org
